Now we have our refurbished taps in a prime location, Aesop of Borough Market. Open to the public 6 days a week.
Aesop had bought a reclaimed triple basin from the architectural salvage experts, LASSCO and they had recommended our specialist services to help them with their tap problems.
When the basin had been removed, a lack of finesse had be shown on the removal of the copper piping underneath. As a result, the bottom of the tap snapped off, flush with the fixing nut!

Not a problem for artisans, such as ourselves. Salvaged 1/2″ BSP threads were located from our stores and machined to be silver soldered to the base of the stricken taps. The restoration went through our usual steps of seat machining, polishing, plating, re-packing and testing to reveal the ‘gems’ that are to be used by staff and public alike.
